FAQ's

Who Is Superior Industries?

Superior Industries is a family-owned, family-run home improvement company for Lakewood, Denver, and surrounding areas that has been in business since 1980. We have helped thousands of Colorado families improve the exterior of their homes by providing high-quality windows, siding, and decorative concrete at fair prices. From start to finish, we strive to provide you with the best home improvement experience you will ever have.

Can I Find A Lower Price?

You can always find a lower price because someone is always willing to offer inferior products and rushed installation. We proudly offer the 'best value for your dollar' on the products we offer. We don't sell cheap products at low-cost pricing to try and earn your business. Cheap isn't what my customers want anyway. They want great quality at fair prices that provide real value.

Can You Give Me A List Of References?

ABSOLUTELY. We will provide you with as many as you like. We encourage you to give them a call and do your due diligence. Check out our testimonial and references page.

Do You Offer Financing?

We provide a variety of financing options, including several private investors. Our private investors offer unique terms that are unlike traditional banks and lenders with no equity requirements. These options could make that project you think is unaffordable a reality.

How Much Down Payment Is Required?

NOTHING. We don't even require a deposit. Unlike other home improvement companies who need your money to complete your project, we don't need any money until the job is finished.

Can I Get A Quote Over The Phone?

No contractor can give you a credible quote over the phone. That's why we insist on meeting customers at their home to discuss any project. We educate you on the products and the process, including a 10-minute informative video that will present an overview of our unique security window products for Denver and surrounding areas..

Who Do I Call If I Have Any Problems?

Call the owner's home number - ANYTIME. All our customers are given my home phone number. Feel free to contact me early in the morning or late at night - even on weekends. My only concern is that your job is done right.

What should I do before I have new windows installed?

To prepare, please remove curtains or other window treatments from the window as well as anything that may fall off of the walls in the vicinity. It is also helpful to clear a path to make sure that the technicians are not obstructed when removing or installing a window. Lastly, please remember to tell your security provider that there will be a great deal of window activity during the installation period.

How can I tell if I need new windows?

Besides the obvious cracks or broken glass it can be hard to tell whether your windows are working as they should be. Here is a list to check when inspecting your windows. If your windows have one or more of these issues then it is time to call a professional.

Won’t budge: if your window is very hard to open or if it does not open at all then you have a problem with your frame. If it is wood then the frame may have expanded or rotted. Alternatively, the metal on the frame could be rusted or a mechanism in the window is broken.

Draft: if you can feel a draft when you are near a closed window then there is something very wrong with your window. If you find that a room is hard to keep warm (or cold) then you may want to try the candle trick. Turn off any heating or cooling so that there is very little air movement. Then light a candle near the window in question and move it around the frame slowly. If you see the flame flicker then you have found your draft.

Moisture between panes: If you have moisture in between the panes of a double or triple pane window, then the window is compromised. There is a crack somewhere in the frame or in the glass which allows moisture to enter – severely reducing the insulation of the window.
